Late Coming, Leave and Absence

  • All students must reach school before the first bell at 07:35 a.m. School gate will be closed at 07:40 a.m. Any student who reaches after that must meet the Principal for late entry and get it marked in the diary.
  • Late-comers will not be given attendance for the day.
  • No student is allowed to take more than 15 days of leave (excluding medical leave) in an academic year. If a student exceeds this limit, his/her name shall be removed from the roll. Re-admission can be taken only by paying the re-admission fees.
  • Medical leave may be sanctioned only if the student is sick and admitted in a hospital or advised bed-rest for more than 2 days. Under such circumstances an application along with a medical certificate must be submitted to the Principal. In certain cases, the Principal may even ask for a certificate from the Medical Board.
  • Avoid taking leave unless it is absolutely necessary. Any student who wishes to take leave to go out of station may do so only with the permission at least one day in advance.
  • No half day leave shall be granted to students, unless students become seriously ill or there exists a case of emergency.
  • Parents are requested not to make any social engagements or medical appointments during school working hours. Withdrawals of your child from classes for mere social functions is not recommended.
  • No leave shall be sanctioned except on medical ground.
  • Leave without information will be considered as absence. A fine of Rs. 10/- shall be charged for each day.
