General Rules
General Rules
All parents and guardians, when their children are admitted to this institution must make themselves acquainted with the rules notified for student's conduct and studies. Ignorance of rules will have no excuse.
Any parent who wishes to meet the Manager may do so on working days from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. in the office.
Any parent who wishes to meet the Principal may do so on working days from 9.00 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the office.
Parents are requested to make any complaint directly to the Principal and the Manager and not to teachers. In case a grievance remains unanswered, the Management Committee will look into the matter.
In case a parent wishes to meet a teacher he/she may do so on working days after the Session (1.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.).
Parents or guardians or any other persons are not allowed to see students or meet their teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
Use of any Electronic Gadgets while in school is prohibited except under the supervision of teachers or with the permission of the Principal.
"Mobile Phones are not allowed for students”
. If it is found from a student that will be the property of the school which will be returned on charging Rs. 500/- as a fine.
The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, pens, money and so on. It is not advisable for the students to have money or other valuable ornaments or articles with them.
Any damage done in, or about the school premises or to the school property must be made good by the parents of the student responsible. If the offender is not discovered and the management feels that a particular class is responsible for the damage, a collective fine may be imposed upon the entire class.
Students are not permitted to
(a) Wear chain, gold ear-rings, fancy ornaments, rings, nail polish, anklets, fancy frills or any other fancy article on their hair.
(b) Distribute sweets / toffees / gifts on their birthday in the school premises.
(c) If students bring power driven vehicles to the school on any day, stern action will be taken against the students by charging Rs. 100/- as a fine.
The parents are requested to give priority to the safety of the students when they arrange private vehicles for their conveyance. The condition of the vehicle, availability of seats etc. should be taken into consideration. Please be in regular touch with the vehicle owner and the driver.
Habitual idleness, disobedience, objectionable, moral influence, above all discourtesy and disrespect to teachers are each a cause for dismissal of a student. In case he/she is re-admitted, the usual admission fees will be charged afresh.
The school does not allow any kind of home-tuitions. If a child is in need of extra help than what is given in class, it should be brought to the notice of the Principal and an alternative arrangement may be made only with the knowledge of the Principal. No student/parent must approach a teacher in the school, directly for this matter.
All should take an honest pride in belonging to the school. All must remain neat and clean always. Politeness and courtesy of speech and neatness in writing are compulsory. All must speak in English while in school except when attending other language classes or dealing with people who are unable to communicate in English.
Be very careful during the recess and otherwise not to litter the floor, the compound and roadside with papers, plastics, leaves, seeds etc. Please make use of the paper bins provided for the purpose.
When students leave the class rooms, the lights and fans must be switched off. Students are supposed to maintain silence in the corridors and should always move class-wise in a line. Running, shouting or talking loudly inside the school building is strictly prohibited.
No one is allowed to remain in the class during the games period, computer period, and library period or during recess.
Students from one class are not permitted to enter another class. No student is allowed to open the cupboards except under the supervision of a teacher.
Strict disciplinary actions will be taken against students found guilty of fighting or quarreling for any reason. Such matters should be brought to the notice and left to the discretion of the Principal for a solution.
Students are expected to be careful with regard to handling of the instruments and chemicals in the laboratories. They will be solely responsible for themselves in case of injury or damage due to carelessness.
No one is entitled to collect money from students on any ground without prior permission from the Principal, Defaulters shall be punished.
A student who scores E in two consecutive years will not be kept in the school.
Any payment at the counter must be made between 08:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
